"After years of suffering with a bad back that constantly felt locked up, I was recommended by a work colleague to try an Osteopath. After just one treatment from Gary I could feel my back improving and has got progressively better each session. I just wish I discovered Osteopathy along time ago"
Katie Reece - Gravesend
Osteopathy has been described at that done by Osteopaths. Osteopaths have been described as those who practice Osteopathy.
This circular analysis was thought suitable at the time of the Osteopaths Act 1993, which established a national register: The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). It is a criminal offence for someone to practice for a fee as an Osteopath without being registered with GOsC
Founded by Gary Lutz in 1988, this City Way clinic has been treating people in the Medway towns, Kent, London and South East of England for over 2 decades
Located in City Way in Rochester Kent, the A229 Medway Osteopathic Clinic offers specialist treatment for back pain, low back pain, neck pain, whip lash, sprained ankles, knee problems, sports injuries and much more.
Osteopathy is a primary care therapy i.e. a patient need not see a medical practitioner before seeking the help of an osteopath. The original attempt to establish a National register accepted the need to protect patients but also to protect the development of osteopathy, the limits of which have not yet been discovered.
